The testo 350 MARITIME flue gas analyzer is certified for emission measurement on marine diesel engines and can be used to measure the gaseous flue gas concentrations of NO, NO2, SO2, CO, CO2-(IR) and O2. In order to meet the harsh requirements at sea, the complete flue gas analyzer, including accessories, is housed in a robust protective case with a trolley function – the testo 350 MARITIME flue gas analyzer certainly isn't a landlubber.

As a seaworthy flue gas analyzer, the testo 350 MARITIME can be used for the following on-board verification surveys in accordance with the NOx Technical Code 2008:
  • For on-board direct measurement and monitoring (e.g. periodic and intermediate surveys)
  • For the simplified testing and measurement method, for instance if modifications have been made to the engine, such as readjustment

The testo 350 MARITIME flue gas analyzer is also suitable for checking the NOx limit values stipulated in MARPOL Annex VI. The NOx values are for example tested in official NOx checks. The 2.2m thermocouple is available as an accessory for the industrial probe set 1200 °C and the heated industrial probe set.

It will enable you to extend your industrial probe to a total length of 2m and carry out simultaneous temperature measurement.

Please note that the measuring range of this thermocouple is specified up to max. 1370 °C. For temperature measurements which exceed 1370 °C, we recommend a Type S thermocouple (measuring range up to 1760 °C).

Product Description

The industrial probe set 1 200 °C can be used in combination with the flue gas analyzers testo 340 and testo 350. It is suitable for the extractive sampling of flue gas analyzed at high flue gas temperatures of up to 1 200 °C and for applications involving large flue gas pipe diameters.

The unheated sampling tube can be extended up to 3 m using optional extension tubes. The thermocouple (2.2m) can be added as an accessory to enable you to carry out simultaneous temperature measurement with a 2m long probe. An optional preliminary filter makes it possible to measure flue gas with a high dust load.

Applications

You can use the industrial probe set 1 200 °C – in conjunction with the appropriate measuring instrument – for the following applications:

TESTO 0600 7556 Flue gas probe with preliminary filter for industrial engines

Product Description

The flue gas probe (in conjunction with the appropriate measuring instrument) performs outstandingly when carrying out professional flue gas measurements on stationary industrial engines. Since it is made entirely of metal, this prevents the handle from melting due to the radiated heat from the flue gas duct. The flue gas probe can be used at flue gas temperatures of up to 1,000 °C. Measurements are also possible at high overpressure (up to max. 100 mbar at the probe tip).

Particularly useful for measurements on diesel engines thanks to the preliminary filter

The fact that the flue gas probe features a preliminary filter makes it ideal for measurements on stationary diesel engines. The preliminary filter protects the gas sampling probe from diesel particulates. The preliminary filter is permanently welded on to the flue gas probe and therefore cannot slip or get lost.

An additional particle filter is located in the hose of the flue gas probe, providing protection from any other contamination.

An additional thermocouple is also available to order. It enables parallel measurement of the temperature in the flue gas. A heat protection handle is also supplied with the thermocouple which prevents burning on the metal handle.

The probe shaft is easy to replace.

TESTO 0600 8898 Thermocouple for engine probe

Product Description

The thermocouple is available as an accessory for the Testo flue gas probes for industrial engines. The thermocouple can therefore be used in combination with the flue gas probe and compatible measuring instrument. This makes it possible to measure the flue gas temperature, in parallel with the flue gas measurement.

The thermocouple delivers the results of the temperature measurement very quickly thanks to its extremely short response time. It can be installed on-site by the user prior to the measurement. The heat protection handle provided also makes it easier to handle. Because this minimizes the risk of getting burned on the metal handle and guarantees safe work.

Applications

The thermocouple can be used (in combination with flue gas probe and measuring instrument) for the following purposes:
